COVID-19 has now escalated into a global pandemic and it is here to stay, at least for awhile.
Amidst the chaos, we must try to live with it as it finds a place in our day-to-day life, and be calm until this storm passes. With an increase in global anxiety and my own panic setting in, I am extremely concerned about my children living overseas; in countries with rapidly rising COVID-19 cases. What can we do but stay calm and ensure our loved ones are safe?
I am glad that in times like these, I can turn to essential oils to help with anxious and worried thoughts. One very effective and easy way to use essential oils is with a personal aroma inhaler stick. Below, I am sharing a beautiful blend for reducing anxiety:
3 drops Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis) – Uplifting & Immune Boosting
3 drops Spike Lavender (Lavendula latifolia) – Relaxing & Expectorant
3 drops Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) – Anti-viral & Antibacterial
3 drops Eucalyptus Radiata (Eucalyptus radiata) – Stimulating & Expectorant
2 drops Lime (Citrus aurantifolia) or Lemon (Citrus limon) – Detoxifying & Immune Boosting
1 drop Bergamot (Citrus aurantium var.bergamia) – Calming & Antiseptic
Drop up to 15 drops of the above blend into the cotton wick in the aroma stick. Inhale as often as needed to feel invigorated and uplifted. This wonderful blend can also be used to clear any congestion when you have a cold or flu.
